1. Information Collected

For data collected from external surveys: Make Opinion does not own/sponsor the surveys they are directed to and all results and data are owned by the originator of the survey.

For respondents to surveys who over Make Opinion provided: We collect the answers you provide to our prequalification questions on behalf of our clients within our application. We may ask for your email address so that you can opt out from multiple devices or different publishing partners that support the Make Opinion-Application to log in to our service.

Make Opinion stores this information in a database in order to suggest future surveys to you that match your profile information. Participation in these proposed surveys is completely non-binding. This information is also passed on to the survey partners. If you are a participant and have questions about the privacy practices of our survey partners and your stored information, please contact the survey partner directly. When we first refer you to one of our survey partners, you`ll see their privacy policy.

2. Legal Bases for Processing

We process your personal data in a lawful, fair and transparent manner. We only collect and process your data if we have a legal basis for doing so.

These legal bases depend on the Services you subscribe to and how you use them, meaning we only collect and use your information where:

  • it is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party or in order to take steps at your request prior to entering into such a contract (e.g. where we are providing a service you have requested);
  • it serves a legitimate interest (not overridden by your privacy interests), e.g. B. for research and development, to market and promote our services and to protect our legal rights and interests;

Privacy Policy for Brazil

This privacy policy for users located in Brazil supplements that in the privacy policy of the Make Opinion GmbH contained herein and applies solely to visitors, users and other persons residing in Brazil (“Consumer” or “You”). We adopt this notice to comply with the Brazilian Data Protection Law Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados Pessoais (Law No. 13.709/2018) (“LGPD”). All terms defined in the LGPD have the same meaning when used in this notice.
